Hurricane Sandy makes it way north, NYC eerily quiet
Took a walk in my neighborhood this morning some ten hours before Hurricane Sandy is expected to arrive and the City that never sleeps was sleeping. Still is. Businessess are closed. Streets are deserted. The usually buzzing Chelsea area of Manhattan was eerily quiet. Took this photo in the middle of the street.
Walked toward the Hudson River--three blocks away from my home--and it was already over flowing. Sandy is serious. Be safe y'all.
